Ingredients
1 lb. Oyster mushrooms
1-2 T bbq seasoning blend
Olive oil, or your preferred cooking oil
Salt, to taste
Barbecue sauce of your choice
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil
- Shred mushrooms, using your hands or two forks, and put into a bowl
- Drizzle oil over the mushrooms and toss to evenly cover
- Sprinkle seasoning blend over mushrooms and toss to evenly cover
- Spread mushrooms evenly on the baking sheet
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, mixing them halfway
- Remove from oven and put mushrooms into a bowl, spoon barbecue sauce over mushrooms, and stir to cover
- Spoon sauced mushrooms onto brioche buns
- Top with pickled red onions, pickles, or coleslaw and serve
