As we move closer Tax Day, we’ve been assessing 2020 for Guided By Mushrooms. 2020 was a hard year for all of us, some more than others. And while we’ve adjusted how we do business because of COVID-19, we are beyond thankful that we’ve been able to continue to produce nutritious mushrooms and mushroom products for our community and beyond.

Part of our mission at Guided By Mushrooms includes feeding those who are less fortunate in our community. We do that through our association with House of Bread, here in Dayton. The House of Bread has served meals to those who need them every day for the last 30 years, and, like them, we do not believe anyone deserves to go hungry.

So, going through our donation receipts, we are excited to find that we provided 360 pounds of fresh mushrooms to House of Bread last year! But that is not from us alone. Many of you, some in Dayton and some out of state, helped make that happen! Your generous donations, by way of our Feed the People program, provided 168 pounds of mushrooms to House of Bread in 2020!
