Description

Our Lions Mane Tincture is made from 100 percent full fruiting bodies. It is grown here on our mushroom farm in Southwestern Ohio and is free of any kinds of pesticides or unnatural ingredients.

Lion’s mane has been used in Japan, China, Korea, and India for its medicinal benefits for hundreds of years. Lion’s mane has been used to improve memory and cognitive function, to improve digestive health, and to improve immune function. Lion’s mane contains compounds that are powerful antioxidants.

Some of the compounds of lion’s mane must be extracted using alcohol, and others need to be extracted using water. We use Everclear Grain Alcohol to extract beneficial compounds from our Lions Mane for eight weeks. Alcohol and water extractions were used to make this tincture, making it a double extraction tincture that contains both the alcohol-soluble and water-soluble properties of lion’s mane.

Dosing and usage recommendation:

Tinctures can be taken daily to help support immune function in low doses, or at higher doses to ward off the onset of a cold or other sicknesses. We recommend taking between 1m-3ml, one to three times daily.

Tinctures are best mixed with fluid to dilute the concentrated flavor- add to tea, coffee, cocoa and other hot beverages(the heat will cause the alcohol to evaporate leaving the beneficial compounds in the cup for you to drink), add to smoothies, oatmeal, soups, salad dressing and anything else you would like.

Our tincture is 30% alcohol by volume.
