We dried our gorgeous phoenix oyster mushrooms so you can have them at the ready whenever you need them.
The best way to use dried mushrooms is to reconstitute them in water. Soaking them in room temperature water
will help preserve their flavor. Soaking them in broth is another option that will add extra flavor to your dish.
Put the dried mushrooms in a bowl and cover with enough room temperature water or broth to cover them. When the mushrooms are soft, remove them from the liquid and gently squeeze to remove excess liquid. They are ready to go!
Save the water after you’ve soaked your mushrooms! Use it in the dish with the mushrooms, or it can be a wonderful addition to broths, stews, pasta, or rice.
Each package contains 1-ounce of dried mushrooms that will reconstitute to weigh 3-4 ounces.
